A hell-uv-a-wheelie
Ok i think you'll probably know the best machine to pull a wheelie is not going to be a Honda CG125 or a 50cc scooter if you have any sense. Just trundle along in 1st then pull the clutch, hit 2nd, rev like hell and leave the clutch out quickly. Dont give it to much juice or youll go over and land on your face. This is not reccommended as falling off at 70mph tends to cause considerable discomfort. To avoid potential disaster read the disclaimer. |
Welcome To RUBBER SIDE DOWN
My new site, (RUBBER SIDE DOWN for those of you who are lost already), is still under construction.
Over the next few weeks I'll be working hard to bring both of you (My readers) info on the best, and worst of course, of bikes. |
So why ride a bike then?
I just hate the morons who boast about how fast this car is and that car is. "OOOOH Woow ahhh, 0-60mph in 9.8 seconds at 25mpg". You fools. The truth is there's no such thing as a fast car. They're a total rip off anyway to buy and to run. Any new 900cc Kawasaki will do 0-60mph in about 3.4 seconds and wont go below 40mpg. All for not much more than ten grand. This doesnt mean however that every time you get on your bike you go ballistic on the street with a ridiculous crew of suicidal maniacs (or in old terms, a band of merry men) whisking you off your feet in a whirlwind of automotive violence and mechanical bloodletting. The reason being that falling off at 178 mph tends to cause considerable discomfort.

Going once, Going twice.....sold!
Now it appears that Piaggio have bought or are going to buy out Cagiva and the Cagiva factory at Varese is now temporarily closed. Three Cross Motorcycles, the main importers, say that they have no idea when or if they will have Cagiva machines in stock again. |
